There was a season in my life when I was raising my sister’s seven children, ranging from nine months to twelve years old.
With toddlers, school-aged children, and preteens all under one roof, keeping our home functional wasn’t about having the newest furniture, the perfect décor, or an unlimited budget. I had to learn how to make the most of what we already had.
I learned to create order in crowded spaces, find a place for everything, rearrange rooms as our needs changed, and look at ordinary things differently. Sometimes the answer wasn’t buying something new—it was clearing out what we no longer needed, moving something to a better place, repurposing what we already owned, or simply seeing a new possibility.
That season taught me something I still believe today:
A home doesn’t have to be new or expensive to be beautiful.
My eye for transformation grew even stronger through more than 25 years of owning a residential and commercial cleaning company. I could walk into a room and immediately notice what wasn’t working, but I also saw what could work.
I didn't just want to clean the room. I wanted to move the furniture, revive the dated piece, paint the wall, change the light fixture, swap the hardware, clear away what was overwhelming the space, and bring the room back to life.
Over the years, that became the way I naturally approached homes:
Before replacing something, I looked for a way to revive it. Before buying more, I looked at what was already there. And before assuming a room needed an expensive renovation, I looked for the changes that could make the biggest difference.
That philosophy became the heart of Beautifully Revived Home.
Today, I help homeowners who want their homes to look and feel better but don't necessarily want or need to spend a fortune changing everything.
Whether I'm teaching you how to do it yourself, creating a plan for you, working alongside you, or handling the transformation for you, we begin in the same place:
What do you already have, and what's possible with it?
Through Declutter • Revive • Style, we'll uncover the potential in your home and make thoughtful decisions about where your time and money will have the greatest impact.
Because creating a home you love isn't about replacing everything.
It's about seeing the possibilities.
Use what you have. Revive what you can. Buy only what you need.
